With all of the rain, we didn't even leave the house on Saturday; well, Tyler did, but just too pick up a few things from the grocery store. It was sort of nice to just spend the day together around the house (in our pajamas!). We had started a puzzle the week before so we spent most of the day working on that. It wasn't nearly as difficult as the last one we did--the paperclip one we did over Christmas--so we were able to finish it by the end of the day. Rain, rain, go away!
A typhoon off the south coast brought lots of rain to our region this past weekend. It seems as if it's been raining here quite a bit. Last year September was beautiful, filled with lots of blue sky, sunshiny days. We're still waiting for God to turn off the faucet and turn down the thermostat a little bit!

Hey! Nice puzzle--I wish I could have been there to help or at least put the last piece in! It is a beautiful, sunshiney day here today--a great day for Krisin and Naveen to get married! Mandy is home (in theory). She has had a lot of things going on, but it's still nice to have one of our kids around for a while. Talk to you soon. Love, MOM
The hike looks interesting, but given the choice, I'd slumber party it any day! I'm glad you had the chance to get together with everyone,and I'm sure you made even more memories to last for a long time. It's always nice to see everyone in pictures from time to time, too.
