Ever Expanding Belly

The baby books tell me that the baby has doubled in size in the past four weeks. My belly seems to have done at least that! In fact, I think my belly button is beginning to run out of skin to stretch. I'm sure it won't be long before that pops out too!


The baby seems to be quite active whenever I'm sitting or resting. Tyler cannot believe how strong the movements are when he puts his hands on my belly! At the doctor visit last week I registered in the normal range for just about everything...blood pressure, belly size, weight, etc. The baby's heartrate was 140 bpm; down from about 150 in past weeks, but still strong and steady.


Any of you wishing to change your girl vote to a boy?! Many people, strangers even, are asking if it's a boy a girl. When I tell them we've decided to wait until birth to find out they almost always give me their opinion (and their reasoning for it) on the matter. So far I've heard about just as many boy guesses as girls. We'll find out eventually, but until then, only God knows!
