Moved...to Michigan

As mentioned in a previous post, our time in Korea was cut short because the Army needs Tyler to deploy. He finally received a report date, July 6, so we were able to move forward with things. Tyler's change of command is planned for May 2. Tyler's dad will be traveling to Korea to share in that occasion. What a special time!

Because of flying restrictions for pregnant women, I had to leave before I really wanted to. I returned to Michigan last week. After almost 30 hours of traveling I was very thankful to take a hot shower and lay down in a bed! My ankles were a little swollen my first day back, but they're back to normal now. A huge thanks to all of you who kept me in your prayers. God is so good!

I've spent the past few days getting adjusted to the time difference, meeting up with all sorts of friends and family and trying to get settled at my parents' house. I still feel like I'm only here for a visit even though I'm going to be here for the next year and a half (while Tyler's deployed). Everyone here is excited the baby will be born in this part of the world. We're just hoping he/she doesn't decide to officially join the family until after Tyler arrives on May 7.

It was much more difficult for me to leave Korea than I thought it would be. I will miss many things from Korean culture, but I also I left behind some really wonderful friends (I think that's the hardest part of living the Army life!). Some of these incredible friends had a surprise baby shower for me the week before I left. So sweet! I got some really wonderful gifts and found myself even more excited about the coming of this little one. Thank you, ladies!

Tyler and Dana:
We're praying May 7th or later for baby Jones. Just tell him/her that is part of the deal. I told Daniel "Due date or later!" And, I went into labor on his due date, bringing him into the the world the day after! The baby listened so well :o)Plus, there were some prayers to the Lord asking for the same thing.
