I bought Tyler a 1000 piece puzzle for his birthday (Aug. 3). We started working on the puzzle in September, but quickly discovered we faced a huge challenge. Those of you who have seen it know what we're talking about! We completed the boarder rather quickly, but the inner part was a totally different story. I once spent an hour working on the puzzle without fitting a single piece into it! Though we didn't give up completely, we didn't spend much time on it after my mom helped us a bit during her visit in October. With our free time around Christmas we started again with a renewed 
sense of vigor and determination. During the past couple weeks we spent a good deal of time staring a puzzle pieces, trying to convince ourselves we weren't crazy for wanting to complete the puzzle. Well, we finally finished Wednesday night...wahoo! Tyler had the honor of putting the last piece in since it was his birthday gift. If any of you are feeling up to the challenge, we'll gladly pass it on!
