We went to quite a few very nice parks and at some of them you would have thought we were back at Ft. Campbell in Rakkasan land because of all of the Toriis - and HUGE ones at that! It was also nice to see big green trees - not a whole lot of them in Seoul, especially this time of year.
In our wanderings about, we also came across quite a few cute little girls - our favorite was this one in the little polka dot raincoat (her Mom was elated that I wanted to take her picture). We also found it very cute how all of the little boys and girls wore these blue school uniforms with hats and identical backpacks!
Lastly, we found a very interesting and sought after place not far from our hotel - the Pearly Gates!! Who knew it was in Tokyo and that it was a golf store?!

Glad to hear that Tyler did well on his GRE. Thomas just recently took the GRE as well. He, however, only had to travel to Chattanooga, TN from Cookeville, TN. At least Tyler's test-taking provided you both with an opportunity to see the world! -Summer
Sure did not know the Pearly Gates were in Japan. What one learns from traveling. Glad you found it! Looks like Tokyo would be an interesting place to see. Happy you had a good time and your test is over. Love, Mom
