"Sick Floor"

Forgive my tardiness in posting, but we're finally here! We made it through the 23+ hour journey of getting to Seoul (South Korea, for all of you geographically challenged!) and are surprised at how quickly the past 5 days have gone by. We're now in the process getting settled...finding an apartment, a car and cell phones. And as we expected, it hasn't been an easy task. We'll give you some more details later about what we are finding. Other than warm fuzzies from all of your thoughts and prayers, we smile each time we go to our hotel room. We're staying on the 6th floor, but the recorded voice (a Korean speaking English) on the elevator sounds more like "sick" than "sixth". Now that we've pretty much gotten over our jet lag we don't feel quite so "sick" and out of it, but we think it's sort of funny nonetheless.

So glad to get you e-mail this morning and to know that you and Tyler are starting to get settled in your new world location. 14 hours difference really does seem like you are on the other side of the world! We will keep you in our prayers. The blog spot is a great idea, so we will keep checking it out. We're looking forward to seeing your folks next weekend in Chicago. They are coming to go to Mandy's exhibition, so we look forward to checking that out with them. Stay well! Love, Jack and Carole
